Too often endurance athletes forget to manage the proper amount of light into the eye and this puts strain on the eye promoting eye fatigue. When your eyes get tired your body slowly looses motor skills. This means both retarding light in full sun conditions as well as helping the eye perform in low light conditions will promote endurance over the course of a competition or training exercise.
