Color Enhancement

We do not tint our lenses. Tinting is an ancient process which involves adding a “color” to the lens surface.

This process creates a lens that will fade over time and reduces the performance of the lens. Our Ballistx Lenses benefit from “In-Mass” high definition technology. Which means that the technology in our lenses is found inside the lens material: a process of imbedding the technology in manufacturing.

Tinting is also counter productive to achieving optimal vision. A tinted lens washes your vision with one color reducing the eye’s ability to accurately define depth of field. In sport, this is a clear disadvantage.

The bottom line: Tinting of lenses is not a practice of HD Spex and is counter productive for optimal sport performance.
